Privacy
Who is responsible for your data?
The controller is Sergi Mateu, operating under the Terrain 21 brand. You can contact Terrain 21 about privacy matters at hello@terrain21.com.
What data do we collect?
If you contact Terrain 21 through the website, we may collect your name, club or organisation, role, email address and the information you include in your message.
Why do we use your data?
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, assess potential professional or commercial opportunities, and manage related communications.
We do not use contact-form submissions for newsletters or automated marketing unless you separately request or consent to that.
Legal basis
Where your enquiry relates to a potential engagement with Terrain 21, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
For other business enquiries, processing may be based on Terrain 21's legitimate interest in responding to professional communications and developing business relationships.
Who may process your data?
Terrain 21 may use service providers to host the website, operate the contact form, process submissions and provide email services.
Form submissions may be processed by Formspree as a service provider. These providers process personal data only as necessary to provide their services and subject to their applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.
International transfers
Some service providers used by Terrain 21 operate internationally and may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Where required under applicable data-protection law, appropriate safeguards are used for these transfers. Cloudflare incorporates relevant Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum, and Formspree states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor.
How long do we keep your data?
If an enquiry does not lead to an ongoing professional or commercial relationship, we normally retain the related correspondence for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a longer period is required to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
If a professional or commercial relationship is established, relevant information may be retained for the duration of that relationship and for any additional period required by law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. You may exercise these rights by contacting hello@terrain21.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Required information
Fields marked as required are necessary so that Terrain 21 can understand and respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide the required information, we may not be able to respond.
Automated decision-making
Terrain 21 does not use information submitted through the contact form for automated decision-making or profiling.
Updates
This Privacy Notice may be updated to reflect changes in the website, service providers or legal requirements. The version published on this website is the current version.
